Scotty McCreery: The Winner of ‘American Idol’

We have another winner in the tenth season of ‘American Idol’and is … Jennifer Lopez, with his great accompaniment to the number of Marc Anthony! Seriously, country singer Scotty McCreery won the title last night after defeating Lauren Alaina in a very emotional night and full of big stars.

Paul McCartney’s ballet will be performed in New York in September

It is unclear whether a trend of pop to the ballet is taking shape, but another big name joins the list of artists who attempt a breakthrough with this noble dance. Paul McCartney has also been commissioned to write music for use in a ballet.

The work, entitled Ocean’s Kingdom will be played by the New York City Ballet on September 22 at the gala dance company. It will be resumed later, a few times at unspecified dates.

According to what was learned the New York Times, Paul McCartney’s ballet lasts about 45 minutes and is divided into four acts. Forty dancers are required for its performance and is staged by the choreographer Peter Martins.

At the newspaper, McCartney explained that Ocean’s Kingdom tells a love story between two people from two different worlds, is the kingdom of the sea, which symbolizes purity and the Kingdom of the land that represents the darkness and the devil.
